Tru Statement Entertainment Presents: B.E.T.A.

Friday, April 8th, 2011

In promotion for the album B.E.T.A., Jingle Punks artist Tru Statement Ent. has leaked three brand new tracks that will be featured on the album. The most recent track being “Just Rock”, is a bouncy party anthem that maintains a level of cool with an even keeled beat and flow. Of the previous two singles, “Take Your Mask Off” is a dark, aggressive plea for honesty and self realization, while “Make It Last” is a slow, mellow ode to the enjoyment of life’s moments. The contrast in style between each song epitomizes what B.E.T.A. is trying to achieve with their upcoming albumĀ Ego & Id; a bi-polar battle between relaxation and intensity, self confidence and distrust. A conceptual album two-part, Ego & Id reflects the dual sides of the human psyche as cited by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud: the rational (Ego) and the primal (Id). The styles of each side clash, yet manage to complement each other perfectly. The resulting sound is B.E.T.A. Check out their promo video for “Ego” below and listen to their singles here.
