Jingle Punks is happy to announce that Tripnotic, a Macedonian artists (formely the Republic of Yugoslavia) who released his latest album Phantom on November 21, 2011, has made it to #1 on the Juno RecordsDrum and Bass chart. The albums title track also made it to #1 on the Drum and Bass singles chart. For those that don’t know, Juno Records is a UK-based online dance music retail store, selling vinyl records, CDs, music downloads and music accessories. Jingle Punks artist Alyson Greenfield recently spent some time over at Converse’s Rubber Tracks recording studio (just like the Hipster Orchestra!) where she recorded her song “Uncharted Places“. Rubber Tracks recently released two videos featuring Alyson in the studio and discussing her art, the beatboxing community, and her experience at the studio. Jingle Punks has another theme song under it’s belt now that Speed Network‘s “Pumped!” is set to debut. The show will air on the Speed Network Thursdays at 9p EST/6p PST and is hosted by Greg Fitzsimmons. Here’s some details on the show:

Pumped! is a fast-paced, ambush-style quiz show that transforms everyday people into instant game show contestants, all while filling up their gas tanks at their local service station. Host Greg Fitzsimmons guides players through multiple rounds of automotive and pop culture question and answer games, affording them the opportunity to win cash and prizes while fueling their cars.

In the latest edition of “Live @ JP” we have Alyson Greenfield stopping through the JP offices with her glockenspiel for a riveting cover of Coolio’s “Gangster’s Paradise”. Alyson’s latest project “Rock Out with Your Glockenspiel Out” is a covers EP featuring songs including “Mama Said Knock You Out” and “All That She Wants”. One of our “48 Hours of Jingle Punks – Master Class” NYU students, Cameron Kush, had a performance this weekend and was photographed in some of cool Jingle Punks swag!
