JP is proud be involved with Cinemax‘s latest documentary series, “Skin to the Max“. The six part docu-series features a score crafted entirely by Jingle Punks as a collaboration with Will Berman of MGMT. The new show, which is billed as “Real people having real sex in erotic locales around the world,” was the highest rated debut in the networks history. The new series airs as part of Cinemax’s “After Dark” programming and you can check out the trailer below. Score.

The groundbreaking original movie “Five” is an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives. “Five” highlights the shared experience each short film’s title character endures from the moment of diagnosis, through an interconnected story arc that uses humor and drama to focus on the effect breast cancer and its different stages of diagnosis have on relationships and the way women perceive themselves while searching for strength, comfort, medical breakthroughs and, ultimately, a cure.

Hey Jingle Punks! It’s Monday and we’re happy to announce a return to “Rick’s Corner“! Our latest video series which features Jingle Rick, a member of JP’s Creative Services team, takes viewers through tips and tricks to better use Apple’s Logic Studio. In episode 2, Rick is taking viewers through automating volume and how this can be used to create a LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) effect on their tracks. With the NFL lockout officially over for only minutes, ESPN, as is their custom as the “Worldwide Leader in Sports,” was all over it with the release of their latest viral ad “The Evolution of the Touchdown Dance”. The ad is a part of ESPN’s ongoing “It’s not crazy, it’s sports” campaign and features viral video star, Judson Laipply (The Evolution of Dance 1 & 2), performing 23 end zone celebrations to a Jingle Punks produced soundbed. It was commissioned by the ad agency Weiden + Kennedy and launched on ESPN’s social sites and YouTube channel just minutes after the news broke that the lockout was over. Check it out below.
We’re proud to announce that Lifetime‘s upcoming reality series “Russian Dolls,” which will premiere August 11 at 1030p ET/PT, will feature music from Jingle Punks. The show, formerly titled “Brighton Beach”, will be “following the fast-paced comings and goings of eight larger-than-life men and women who live fully, love passionately and work hard as only they can in Brooklyn’s historic Russian-American neighborhood, Brighton Beach.” (The Futon Critic) Check out the trailer for the upcoming series below.
We here at Jingle Punks are extremely proud to announce that our CEO and co-founder, Jingle Jared Gutstadt, was honored with an ASCAP Award for writing the theme to History Channel’s hit show, Pawn Stars. This is a tremendous accomplishment for Jared who was honored among other notable composer such as Sean Callery, Michael Giacchino and Jimmy Levine. This event will also see one of Jared’s heroes, Alf Clausen, receive a lifetime achievement award for his work on The Simpsons.
Jingle Jared accepted the award at the 26th Annual ASCAP Film & Television Music Awards, which was held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. The ceremony was invitation–only and honored the composers and songwriters of the most performed Film and Television music of 2010.
