A BIG congratulations to Jingle Punks artists Leah West who is a finalist for this year’s People’s Choice Awards. This is a huge accolade for Leah and everyone here at Jingle Punks is proud of this accomplishment. Leah’s not done yet though, voting for the award ends at midnight on Saturday (April 9) so she still needs our help. Click HERE to vote for Leah and pass the word on to friends and family!

Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra – Classically Bad-Ass/Tasteful:

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

Your dinner parties needn’t be plagued by that crap Hotel Costes compilation that used to get you laid ten years ago. Introducing – The Strokes “Under Cover Of Darkness” done with a bit of strings, a lot of soul and a little something special. The brainchild of our own Jingle Jared with help, talent and (let’s face it) most of the musical know-how and education provided by the lovely and talented String Section.

Note Jingle Jared plucking away on the Mandolin and your friendly, humble and completely bad-ass Head Music Supervisor Shota Ike opening our crusty tear-ducts with some soul on the violin.

It’s time to rock – gently, cooly – and still so. Expect more of these and, in the meantime, keep that 85 Bordeaux opening up, that Foie Gras properly fruit-glazed and those amazing Jalepeno-flavored Doritos on tap for your next supper-time eating adventure.

Jingle Punks newest musical stunt tackles one of our favorite Strokes tunes of all time. Please watch, enjoy and share.

Jingle Punks Run NYC

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Well not really… but we did play the NYC Half Marathon.  As promised we took some videos of the Jingle Punks Allstars – probably the greatest band, maybe ever – and yes, we had a great time.  So since a picture is worth a thousand words we figure a video is worth like, a bagillion! Please check out the Jingle Punks All Stars doing what they do best below – rock! And yes we do do Bar-Mitzvahs, Weddings and the occasional Bris. Call for rates.

NYC Half Marathon

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

What, besides a good pair of shoes, do long distance runners need? Exactly — music to PUMP YOU UP. Which is why the Jingle Punks All-Stars will be taking the stage in front of the U.S.S. Intrepid early on Sunday, March 21st. More precisely, we’ll be on the southbound side of the West Side Highway between 43rd and 44th Streets. We go on at 8:15am and will be jamming as the runners fly by. So what music will we be rocking? Only songs appropriate for early on a spring Sunday morning… songs like Eye Of The Tiger, My Heart Will Go On, Danger Zone, Don’t Stop Believing, and Poker Face, to name just a few. Seriously, if you’ve got a better way of spending a Sunday morning than by listening to us cover Lady Gaga, we’d like to hear it.
