Yesterday was a HUGE day at Jingle Punks. First off we got new shirts. Yes. They are rad and everyone is bugging us for one. If you need or want one, just blog something nice about us and send proof… we’ll make sure a shirt finds you.
After the shirts arrived we had a real actual girl in our offices. This was so exciting that it was like the equivalent of putting a female ape in the cage at the zoo with the all male primates. As you can see by the devilish grins on our faces this was exciting indeed. It worked out great because Sarah, the girl who came by to drop off music, just so happened to be a world class violin player and was cool enough to jump in on a project for us that needed fiddle skills. So we found ourselves in a pinch today, needing that 70’s guitar sound that only a 12-string can provide and turned our buddy Jeremy Cole at Guitar Center for some help. He made a couple calls and hooked us up with a sweet deal before the day was out.

Sometimes at Jingle Punks we have down time. This past friday we had to update the OS system on the Jingle machines, so I took this as an opportunity to treat some of the employees around our offices to my musical stylings. While I was in college, I learned how to play thousands of songs on the guitar so I could entertain friends at parties. Over the years my guitar chops have improved in some areas (original composition, jingle writing and shredding). and diminished in other areas (cover songs and stupid 90’s repertoire). Anyways, this is just a taste of the dazzling performance I delivered as a spiritual bonus for our employees last week.
A lot of people have been asking us for more video updates because our first ones were watched by a whopping 98 people….c’mon you gotta re-tweet this if you want us to take the time to make some videos.

So this week has already started with a bang. First off. Jingle Punks has finally moved into our new office. We are so excited to now have a space where we can meet clients, compose music and hang out with all our Jingle bands when they swing through town. We also just put the finishing touches on our first ever compilation of Jingle Punks key tracks for the month of July. If you are on our mailing list you will be getting a link to this shortly.
As well, Jingle Punks has been busy working on some really cool new projects. MTV recently asked us to do some pitches for a new show and to make these songs extra awesome we brought in some hired guns. Check out the below video and enjoy.

Well, for some time now our friends and even some of our clients, Mom’s and Dad’s have been asking Dan and I to document some of our day to day activities so they could get a sense of what it is we actually do here at Jingle Punks all day.
These first videos will not make anything clear except for the fact that everyday is completely different for us.
Some days we are recording with street musicians in Brooklyn…
Other days we are in LA taking rapid fire meetings to get our roster of artists placed in shows…
