Jingle Punks Beats Down Some Bullys

Recently Jingle Punks was asked to make some music for Season 2 of MTV’s Bully Beatdown, one of the most insane shows on television. So our friend Clyde L hit us up and told us he needed some audio stings to help move the show along and also serve notice for people who just got their a** beatdown by a pro MMA fighter. Of course for this we turned to our favorite metal singer, Phil Costello, of Stanicide / Tragedy fame to jump in and help the cause. What ensued was utter mayhem. Yes, our ears are still ringing from the noise… and our stomachs still hurt from laughter. Please watch how we created these audio stings and enjoy.

Jingle Punks Run NYC

Well not really… but we did play the NYC Half Marathon. As promised we took some videos of the Jingle Punks Allstars – probably the greatest band, maybe ever – and yes, we had a great time. So since a picture is worth a thousand words we figure a video is worth like, a bagillion! Please check out the Jingle Punks All Stars doing what they do best below – rock! We have been asked why there has been a slow down in the video blogs and we don’t want to make excuses like we’ve been creating music for shows, doing interviews on CNN and planning out trip to SXSW… so without further adieu here is our latest video opus in which I get into character for SXSW.

Yesterday was a HUGE day at Jingle Punks. First off we got new shirts. Yes. They are rad and everyone is bugging us for one. If you need or want one, just blog something nice about us and send proof… we’ll make sure a shirt finds you.

After the shirts arrived we had a real actual girl in our offices. This was so exciting that it was like the equivalent of putting a female ape in the cage at the zoo with the all male primates. As you can see by the devilish grins on our faces this was exciting indeed. It worked out great because Sarah, the girl who came by to drop off music, just so happened to be a world class violin player and was cool enough to jump in on a project for us that needed fiddle skills. So we found ourselves in a pinch today, needing that 70′s guitar sound that only a 12-string can provide and turned our buddy Jeremy Cole at Guitar Center for some help. He made a couple calls and hooked us up with a sweet deal before the day was out.
