The first Jingle Punks video blog of 2011 is here and it’s chock full of “firsts.” Not only does it follow Jingle Jared around as he gets ready to accept his very first ASCAP Award, but it’s also the first time I’ve been able to showcase my recently certified video editing akills. This is also going to be the first time someone mixes up the name of Men’s Wearhouse… but you’ll see. Of course there’s plenty of those “laugh out loud” moments you’re used to seeing in previous JP video blogs (I swear Jingle Jared needs his own reality show ASAP!). Anyway I’m pretty excited for you all to see how it turned out so check it out below and leave us some feedback!

Last week, Jingle Punks had the pleasure of sponsoring the BET Music Matters showcase. The event took place at Crash Mansion on New York’s lower east side, and featured performances by Kevin Cossom, Gilbere Forte, Olamide, and Mali Music. The turnout was great and each performer kept the capacity crowd captivated. Jingle Punks is very proud of our involvement with BET and we can’t wait to unveil our exclusive joint library, “The Collection,” in the coming months. Check out video below of the performances.

Note Jingle Jared plucking away on the Mandolin and your friendly, humble and completely bad-ass Head Music Supervisor Shota Ike opening our crusty tear-ducts with some soul on the violin.
It’s time to rock – gently, cooly – and still so. Expect more of these and, in the meantime, keep that 85 Bordeaux opening up, that Foie Gras properly fruit-glazed and those amazing Jalepeno-flavored Doritos on tap for your next supper-time eating adventure.

So…Jingle Punks are now officially famous in their own minds and on TV. Check out the first of many musical stunts that NBC has asked the Jingle Punks All Stars to do. In this go at it the Punks take to the streets of NYC to do a country-fied cover of LaRoux’s Bulletproof. We hope you dig this and keep our viral nonsense spreading!

Jingle Punks on Last Call with Carson Daly
Well it’s that time again, the time when the Jingle Punks All Stars take to the streets with their country ways and their catchy tunes. Or in this case, take to the cozy confines of the Jingle Punks saloon and/or office. So sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy this little ditty.
Recently Jingle Punks formed a rogue division called the Jingle Punks All Stars featuring real life hillbillies that are setting out to cover every awesome song ever written in their own unique style. Their secret weapon is authentic Appalachian instruments and the Asian Charlie Daniels, also known as Shota – yes, that’s his real name. Without further adieu we present La Roux’s Bulletproof, which apparently we um, wrote? …not really. But maybe…
So unless you’re living under a rock you should’ve heard by now that Jingle Punks are hosting a Jingle Jam at the Promax conference in Los Angeles next week – and just in case you thought we weren’t taking this seriously, take a gander at the Jingle Punks All Stars shaking off the dust and kicking out the jams!
Yes… this is what Jared and Jon were screaming during their entire flight out west for the NAB Conference where they were on a multi-leg journey to promote Jingle Punks the only way they knew how… bringing out the Jingle Guy and shaking lots of hands and kissing babies.

Recently Jingle Punks was asked to make some music for Season 2 of MTV’s Bully Beatdown, one of the most insane shows on television. So our friend Clyde L hit us up and told us he needed some audio stings to help move the show along and also serve notice for people who just got their a** beatdown by a pro MMA fighter. Of course for this we turned to our favorite metal singer, Phil Costello, of Stanicide / Tragedy fame to jump in and help the cause. What ensued was utter mayhem. Yes, our ears are still ringing from the noise… and our stomachs still hurt from laughter. Please watch how we created these audio stings and enjoy.
