Jingle Punks + History Channel + Bret Michaels + Cars = Most awesome show launch ever!

The cat is officially out of the bag on this. Yes. We wrote a kickass song for our new friend Bret to sing on. Yes. History Channel let us make a sick video to document the making of this song…and yes. This is all for the mega launch of Top Gear USA.

The track is currently being used in the show’s promotional spot. The show will premiere this Sunday night 11/21 at 10pm ET on History (don’t miss it!!!). Everyone is buzzing about this promo campaign including the NY Times and Billboard. Big big thanks to Krista at History, Janna and Jo from Bret’s team and of course Bret who is without a doubt still one of the biggest badasses in rock n roll today.

So we here at Jingle Punks are having quite the week – first we graced the pages of Billboard Magazine, and now we’ve done gone and landed ourselves in Variety! It’s that time of year again – the time of year where we get our face plastered amongst the pages of Billboard magazine. And being the shy, bashful company that we are, we almost kept this amazing accomplishment to ourselves… But alas, the opportunity for shameless self-promotion got the better of us, so we’ve taken to shouting it from the mountain tops!

In this, the latest issue, Billboard tapped Jingle Jared to provide some helpful advice and key insight into placing your music in advertising, television and film. We feel very honored that we’ve become one of the leading voices in this industry, and proud to help influence the careers of many independent artists – and also just a little thrilled to see our name printed up in a big fancy magazine.

Jingle Punks Land in Billboard

Jingle Punks continues its wild run through the press with a spot in Billboard Magazine’s Fashion Week issue. The magazine approached Jingle Jared for a little Q&A during Grammy Week all about offering insight on how artists can get their music placed in fashion related shows. Unfortunately Jared thought Billboard wanted to do an interview about his own sartorial do’s and don’ts. Needless to say they were less than impressed with his Jams Shorts. C’est la vie, at least they were able to catch him in what is fast becoming his signature pose around the offices… guitar in hands, feet off the ground, and constantly checking himself for B.O.
