The most recent success? The Sunday night premiere of Cajun Pawn Stars, the southern-fried debutante that drops the original Pawn Stars’ template right into the heart of alligator country—that is to say, the great state of Louisiana. Jingle Punks is proud to have written and performed the Cajun Pawn Stars theme song.
The premiere’s ‘stellar’ details, via TV By The Numbers: ’3.6 million total viewers, 2.0 million Adults 25-54 and 1.8 million Adults 18-49.’ Talk about a goldmine. Jingle Punks, as always, is psyched to be working with such talented people. Congratulations to all involved!
This Friday night at 10p EST, History is premiering their latest series, Invention USA! Jingle Punks had a hand in the music for this series and we recommend that all our artists tune in. The series will is hosted by Garrett Lisi and Reichart Von Wolfsheild who search the U.S. looking for the next great invention. Here’s History’s overview of the series:
Here’s a brand new promo for the upcoming slate of programming on the History Channel. The spot includes footage of fan-favorite History Channel shows such as Pawn Stars and American Pickers, as well as many cool new shows like American Restoration and Mounted in Alaska. The network re-brand was churned out by our studio team and features the vocals of Lyle Kamesaki of Gambit. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Brand new sizzle reel for The History Channel. Part of Jingle Punks sonic re-branding of the network, this ad features music created in-house by JP’s Creative Services department.
We didn’t step out of our recording booth this weekend, nor tune in for any sports besides the public access broadcast of Hipster Kickball over in W-Burg, but apparently there was some event on Sunday that rode the coat tails of the Larry The Cable Guy Promo we scored to a massive 100 million plus viewership.
We’ll wait for a nice fruit basket from the folks at the NFL (apparently they sponsored this broadcast) as a thank-you for riding the wind beneath our musical wings. Until then, big ups to big ole’ Larry and everyone at History Channel. We have some high hopes for this one as it is our first theme song with topical lyrics to accompany original music we composed which is a seed we hope will blossom into us writing more Alan Thicke inspired TV show tunes (***see Facts of Life and Different Strokes). Fingers crossed.
We’ve never been accused of being shy and when it comes to opportunities to present our mugs on national television – we’re more-than-happy brushing shoulders with Miley Cyrus bong rips and Paris Hilton nip-slips.
The culmination of our 2010 auditory Rebrand and Promo partnership with History Channel puts Jingle Punks in our own music video – scoring the amazing swath of History Channel programming that has marked their stratospheric trajectory over 2010.
While we’re blushing at the exposure (so many lights, so many beards, so many overindulgent mic grabs!), we wouldn’t think that this cherry-on-top of our 2010 could have happened without the amazing vision from the Creatives at History Channel – not to mention their courage that we’d not make asses of ourselves on-set.
So without further adieu we give you “Everyday” as done in amazing live-action by The Jingle Punks. The perfect compliment to a glass of champagne or (more our style), a spill of whiskey licked-off-a-barstool this New Year’s. Cheers.
The cat is officially out of the bag on this. Yes. We wrote a kickass song for our new friend Bret to sing on. Yes. History Channel let us make a sick video to document the making of this song…and yes. This is all for the mega launch of Top Gear USA.
The track is currently being used in the show’s promotional spot. The show will premiere this Sunday night 11/21 at 10pm ET on History (don’t miss it!!!). Everyone is buzzing about this promo campaign including the NY Times and Billboard. Big big thanks to Krista at History, Janna and Jo from Bret’s team and of course Bret who is without a doubt still one of the biggest badasses in rock n roll today.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: if the perfect music for your production doesn’t exist, we’ll make it. For majestic proof, look no further than this soulful and timeless take on “America the Beautiful” that we created for The History Channel’s America: The Story Of Us. Pair the track with shots of Lady Liberty, and you’ve got goosebumps for miles. Check it out below.
History Channel and Jingle Punks continue their love affair with a new show open for their series, Sliced. This makes it lucky number 3 for us – having already outfitted both American Pickers and Pawn Stars with the sweet sweet sounds of Jingle Punks music – and enjoy the clip below.
For this spot we want to give big ups to Angus Kahn who provided this blisteringly epic rock song. If you don’t know who Angus Kahn are please check out their Myspace page.
This past Friday Jingle Punks did our first ever in store for Apple. Our Apple Store presentation, “Making and Selling Your Music”, was all about how to take your dream and turn it into a reality.
Armed with the Apogee ONE and highlighting Apple’s Logic Pro, we took the attendees through the steps of how to spot the types of music that shows use and then showed step by step how to create these with tools you may already own (like Logic and Garageband); We also explained how Jingle Punks produces music for top networks like the A&E, NBC, History Channel and MTV with a speedy turnaround.
During the event Jingle Jared and Jeff even recorded short songs using a mandolin, guitar, midi controller and ONE’s internal condenser microphone demonstrating how easy it is to get great broadcast ready recordings on a budget and tight space.
We want to give Apogee a major shout out for demo products they have been sending our way. We suggest you check out their website to learn more about their awesome roster of products . In the recent months, we have been traveling with the ONE, taking advantage of its microphone while composing on location for many of our high profile clients.
A lot of people have been asking us for more video updates because our first ones were watched by a whopping 98 people….c’mon you gotta re-tweet this if you want us to take the time to make some videos.
Anyways, if a picture is worth 1000 words than this video is worth at least 10,000 words. So on that note. No more words. Just click to watch.
