Your dinner parties needn’t be plagued by that crap Hotel Costes compilation that used to get you laid ten years ago. Introducing – The Strokes “Under Cover Of Darkness” done with a bit of strings, a lot of soul and a little something special. The brainchild of our own Jingle Jared with help, talent and (let’s face it) most of the musical know-how and education provided by the lovely and talented String Section.
Note Jingle Jared plucking away on the Mandolin and your friendly, humble and completely bad-ass Head Music Supervisor Shota Ike opening our crusty tear-ducts with some soul on the violin.
It’s time to rock – gently, cooly – and still so. Expect more of these and, in the meantime, keep that 85 Bordeaux opening up, that Foie Gras properly fruit-glazed and those amazing Jalepeno-flavored Doritos on tap for your next supper-time eating adventure.
Jingle Punks newest musical stunt tackles one of our favorite Strokes tunes of all time. Please watch, enjoy and share.
Our friends at Fox obviously think the best way of raising awareness during the 2011 Super Bowl for their hit show “Raising Hope” is with a little Jingle Punks rock – see below. This marks two Jingle Punks needle-drops during the 2011 Super Bowl – by our discerning abacus and grade-school addition, we estimate that combined viewership at 23 billion people.
Jingle Punks continues to find more exciting press about MidemLab 2011. Check out this link to see none other than Jingle Jared and several other finalists speak about the Future of the Music Industry! “In the year 3000, In the year 30000000000!” I couldn’t resist referencing Conan there. Enjoy!
A show that’s as feel-good as Animal Planet’s animal rescue-chronicling “Last Chance Highway” deserves music as warm and fuzzy as its awww-inspiring costars. A breezily strummed mandolin? It’s music to save lives to.
The HD offerings that Starz offer on demand are sensational and considerable, which is why they came to Jingle Punks to provide promo music as exhilarating as their programming lineup. It’s a pitch-perfect musical accompaniment, on demand.

I Love Monsters is a band Jingle Punks loves…We recently placed them in the series Entourage and as a sign of appreciation we decided to make them our guinea pigs for a new concept we are going to call: Jingle Punks Presents: Music in Odd Places. This video was shot before their headlining show at Mercury Lounge and gives you a really good sense of their power pop personalities. Think of them as Cheap Trick meets XTC and Devo with a dash of Gang of Four mixed in for good measure.

Recently Jingle Punks formed a rogue division called the Jingle Punks All Stars featuring real life hillbillies that are setting out to cover every awesome song ever written in their own unique style. Their secret weapon is authentic Appalachian instruments and the Asian Charlie Daniels, also known as Shota – yes, that’s his real name. Without further adieu we present La Roux’s Bulletproof, which apparently we um, wrote? …not really. But maybe…

It’s that time of year again – the time of year where we get our face plastered amongst the pages of Billboard magazine. And being the shy, bashful company that we are, we almost kept this amazing accomplishment to ourselves… But alas, the opportunity for shameless self-promotion got the better of us, so we’ve taken to shouting it from the mountain tops!
In this, the latest issue, Billboard tapped Jingle Jared to provide some helpful advice and key insight into placing your music in advertising, television and film. We feel very honored that we’ve become one of the leading voices in this industry, and proud to help influence the careers of many independent artists – and also just a little thrilled to see our name printed up in a big fancy magazine.
