For those that missed the Jingle Punks Holiday Kickoff Party last Friday, December 2, at Rockwood Music Hall, you missed one helluva performance! The Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra kicked off the night with an hour long set that featured tunes from both of their recently released albums. The friend and fans in attendance were so enamored with their performance of the Hipsters, that they basically begged them to play an encore before leaving . Both JP artists and clients were in the house ready to kick off the holiday season and the atmosphere was warm and festive. Those in attendance received Jingle Punks swag including silly bands, buttons, and t-shirts along with an exceptional performance. Below is a photo recap of the night (video coming soon!).

Recently Pure-Brand.com featured Jingle Punks in it’s PureThinking blog in a post titled “The Appeal of Interagency Music Sharing“. The writer of this post, Ryan Arnold, makes some great observations about how sharing music (or better yet playlists) between companies can be a good thing. He goes on to discuss how JP is taking our Hipster Orchestra to Ad Agencies and compared our Jingle Player to Spotify (Very high praise!). This is a very interesting read and we recommend checking it once you get a chance.

According to AV Club Chicago, if the Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra were like food,they would be “the harmonious alliance between Ramen and Cristal Champagne“. Sounds interesting huh? The Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra will be performing in NYC at the Rockwood Music Hall on Dec. 2, 2011 at 7:30p. The show will be a release/Holiday kickoff party and include orchestral arrangements of songs by Nirvana, MGMT, The Strokes, Matt & Kim, and The White Stripes among others. We’re excited to celebrate the release of both of the Hipster Orchestra albums and can’t wait to see the Hipsters perform some new tunes for their fans.
