Cover Me Blog

Jingle Punks has built a reputation for having some of the BEST pre-cleared indie music available and that reputation was built, in part, thanks to the success of our incredible Artist Community! We don’t see that changing any time soon and we’ve got more proof as to why we’re the best  and it comes from Cover Me Blog’s “Best Cover EPs of 2011″ list. The blog’s annual list features two Jingle Punks artists, Bird Call and Alyson Greenfield, who ranked at #11 and #2 respectively.  Both of their EP’s received high praise (which you can read below) and we’re incredibly happy for their success! Check out the article HERE and be sure to pick up both Alyson and Bird Call’s projects on either Amazon or iTunes.

JP x Guitar World

Jingle Jared took some time out of his busy day as CEO of Jingle Punks to bless the Guitar World readership with some gems from his time in the music business. His very first column, “Confessions of a Professional TV Theme Songwriter: I Can’t Read Music” is uniquely Jingle Jared; honest and entertaining. Make sure you take some time out to read this column and keep an eye out because there’s certainly more to come.

Breakthru Radio’s “Hear and There” Series w/ Sarah Aument

Thursday, October 13th, 2011

JP member Sarah Aument is the latest artist to be featured in Breakthru Radio’s “Hear and There” video series. The series which “features original and dynamic musicians performing live in interesting locations, all shot in beautiful HD video,” has new episodes every Thursday on BreakThru Radio’s website. The good people over at BTR are just now finding out what we’ve known for a while now and had great things to say about Sarah and her music.

Here’s it is:

Drawing from the likes of Feist, Broken Social Scene, and Iron & Wine, Sarah Aument is a folk singer-songwriter whose work is powerfully moving, raw with sincerity, and beautifully straight-forward. Emotions easily shine through Aument’s sparse and tender songs as her heart-felt narratives quickly grow from soft-spoken, introspective musings into loud, robust rock frenzies.

Now check out the video below. Enjoy!
