For those that missed the Jingle Punks Holiday Kickoff Party last Friday, December 2, at Rockwood Music Hall, you missed one helluva performance! The Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra kicked off the night with an hour long set that featured tunes from both of their recently released albums. The friend and fans in attendance were so enamored with their performance of the Hipsters, that they basically begged them to play an encore before leaving . Both JP artists and clients were in the house ready to kick off the holiday season and the atmosphere was warm and festive. Those in attendance received Jingle Punks swag including silly bands, buttons, and t-shirts along with an exceptional performance. Below is a photo recap of the night (video coming soon!).

A Hipster Holiday!

Hipster Holiday

Just in the nick time, the Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra has released their latest video to get fans into the “Holiday” spirit! The video for their cover of Vampire Weekend’s “Holiday” from their recently released album “Hipster Dinner Party, Vol. 1“ was shot at New York’s historic Jane Hotel by Dan Katz. The Hipsters are gearing up to play their second city this week with a performance tomorrow at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC (ticket info here) after several gigs earlier in the week in Chicago. This event will serve as Jingle Punks “Holiday” kick-off party and we would love to see you there. Check out the flyer for Friday’s party beneath the official video for “Holiday”!

Hipster Orchestra At Rockwood Music Hall

The Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra will be performing in NYC at the Rockwood Music Hall on Dec. 2, 2011 at 7:30p. The show will be a release/Holiday kickoff party and include orchestral arrangements of songs by Nirvana, MGMT, The Strokes, Matt & Kim, and The White Stripes among others. We’re excited to celebrate the release of both of the Hipster Orchestra albums and can’t wait to see the Hipsters perform some new tunes for their fans. Eleanor Dubinsky Concert & Video Shoot

Today on Rockwood Music Hall’s stage 2 at 6:30p, JP’s own Eleanor Dubinsky will be shooting a video of her band performing. Come down and be a part of the video’s energetic and enthusiastic crowd!

Also tonight at Rockwood, stage 2 is hosting the Singing 4R Sisters benefit concert with proceeds going to the Lower East Side Girls Club. The show features an all female line-up including JP artists Clara Lofaro and Eleanor Dubinsky, as well as Bekka Lindstrom, Nadia Ackerman, Jessice Marciel, Tammy Scheffer, Gio Moretti, Emily Wolf, Kalen, Amy Regan, Yula & XFM, and Kat Calvosa. The show begins at 6p and runs until 1a with a suggested donation of $10 (pay what you can). A list of the performers as well as tickets can be found HERE.
